Customer Support Officer

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Support Officer to join our team in Bopulu, Liberia. The role will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive timely and accurate information about our solar mini‑grid services and that any issues are resolved efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism.
• Provide clear information on company products, services, and procedures.
• Log complaints, requests and incidents in the ticketing system and track them to resolution.
• Escalate complex issues to field operations, technical teams or supervisors as needed.
• Register new customers and maintain up‑to‑date records in company databases.
• Perform daily data entry tasks, including billing updates and credit corrections.
• Identify recurring issues and report trends to management.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively with field and technical teams.
• Attention to detail for accurate data entry and record keeping.
• Basic numeracy for handling billing information.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using a ticketing or CRM system.
• Experience with data entry and basic computer applications.
