Deputy Representative Operations

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Deputy Representative Operations to join its senior management team in Monrovia, Liberia. The role supports UNICEF’s mission to advance children’s rights and equity in a post‑conflict context, providing strategic operational leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the operations functions to achieve results and drive change.
• Provide risk‑informed, solution‑focused analysis to support programme delivery.
• Collaborate with government, UN agencies and civil society to enhance public financing for children.
• Support integrated, decentralized approaches that address vulnerable groups, including adolescent girls.

Required profile

• Member of the senior management team with experience in strategic business partnership.
• Demonstrated ability to work in resource‑constrained, culturally sensitive environments.
• Commitment to UNICEF’s equity strategy and child‑rights agenda.
