Mining Infrastructure Coordinator

About the role

The Mining Infrastructure Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising all infrastructure activities within a mining project. This role ensures that work is executed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement work plans for mining infrastructure aligned with project timelines.
• Coordinate daily operations across infrastructure teams and monitor progress.
• Supervise field personnel, enforce safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and address non‑conformances.
• Manage allocation and utilization of equipment, tools and materials.
• Oversee manpower deployment to maximise productivity.
• Liaise with procurement and logistics to ensure timely resource availability.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external contractors, participate in meetings and resolve conflicts.
• Prepare detailed performance reports and propose process improvements.
• Support implementation of innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mining or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mining infrastructure development and coordination.
• Strong knowledge of mining operations, infrastructure standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in project planning, resource management and team supervision.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications.
