Local Leadership & Partnerships Manager

About the role

The Local Leadership & Partnerships Manager leads the partnership and capacity‑strengthening agenda for Catholic Relief Services in the country. This senior position shapes strategy, drives communication, and ensures effective collaboration with partners, regional teams, and headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership of partnership strategy, set goals, monitor performance and evaluate outcomes.
• Identify and pursue funding opportunities to enhance the partnership approach.
• Develop and maintain a common language around partnership, capacity strengthening and institutional development.
• Facilitate timely information sharing, including decisions, updates, successes and challenges.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with partners, applying established partnership principles.
• Oversee the creation, adaptation and delivery of training tools and best‑practice guidelines for CRS and partner staff.
• Coordinate with regional and HQ partnership teams to share peer‑agency lessons and ensure alignment.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading partnership or collaboration strategies in the humanitarian or development sector.
• Strong communication and relationship‑management skills, with ability to act as primary liaison between CRS and partners.
• Experience in capacity‑strengthening initiatives and developing training resources.
• Ability to identify funding opportunities and manage monitoring and evaluation processes.
• Familiarity with CRS partnership principles and willingness to work across program, finance and operations units.
