Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer Annotator to support AI model development by reviewing, annotating and validating backend engineering datasets, code samples and system design outputs. The role combines strong analytical skills with deep knowledge of backend technologies to ensure high‑quality training data for artificial‑intelligence systems.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples, REST API and GraphQL workflows.
• Label datasets that describe backend processes, scalability, performance and reliability criteria.
• Validate server‑side code for performance, logic accuracy and security compliance.
• Provide structured feedback and engineering reasoning for dataset improvements.
• Review database queries, authentication mechanisms and microservice interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical field.
• Experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Strong understanding of backend security principles and secure coding standards.
