Business Development Manager (KOL) – Crypto Exchange

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager (KOL) to drive contract trading volume and liquidity on our cryptocurrency exchange platform. The role focuses on building strategic partnerships with market makers, institutional clients, brokers and ecosystem projects to expand our user base and trading communities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to increase contract trading volume and platform liquidity.
• Identify, approach and negotiate partnerships with market makers, institutional investors, brokers and related ecosystem projects.
• Close deals that onboard new users and trading communities onto the platform.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and user feedback to refine product offerings.
• Work closely with product, marketing and operations teams to boost product adoption and user engagement.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences and online forums to raise brand visibility.
• Prepare regular reports on business development progress, revenue impact and market insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales or partnerships within cryptocurrency exchanges, fintech or derivatives trading.
• Proven track record of delivering trading‑volume growth, partnership acquisition or revenue targets.
• Deep understanding of cryptocurrency derivatives (perpetual swaps, futures, options) and trading mechanisms.
• Strong network within the crypto industry, including traders, institutions and liquidity providers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills in English.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and comfortable in a fast‑paced, remote‑friendly environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cryptocurrency derivatives (perpetual swaps, futures, options).
