Computational Environmental Scientist

About the role

We are expanding our team of expert consultants with 12 PhD‑level Environmental Scientists for part‑time, fully‑remote work supporting frontier AI research. The role focuses on stress‑testing leading AI models on research‑level environmental science problems, creating and verifying complex questions and explanations, and assessing whether AI‑generated reasoning meets the standards of a trained environmental scientist. Projects start at $60‑80 USD per hour, with top‑performing experts earning $150 USD+ per hour.

Key responsibilities

Required profile

• PhD in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Actively engaged in computational research with quantitative models.
• Hands‑on experience in computational modeling, simulation, or large‑scale data analysis.
• Fluent English reading and writing skills.
