Crew Cadet Internship on DEME Vessel – Easter 2027

About the role

This short‑term internship offers maritime students the chance to gain hands‑on sailing experience aboard a DEME vessel during the Easter period. Over four weeks you will work under the guidance of a Second Mate (deck) or Second Engineer (engine) and become familiar with daily operations in a leading dredging and offshore environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Second Mate or Second Engineer with routine deck or engine tasks.
• Participate in watch‑keeping, navigation support, and basic maintenance activities.
• Observe and learn safety procedures, vessel handling, and operational protocols.
• Document daily activities and report observations to senior crew members.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a maritime education program at a recognized institute.
• Available for a continuous four‑week period during the Easter holidays of 2027.
• Motivated to learn and work in a professional dredging and offshore setting.
