External Communications Manager (PR)

About the role

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is looking for a proactive PR / External Communications Manager to lead public‑relations initiatives and support the company’s global brand presence. You will work remotely with cross‑functional teams to create compelling content, manage agency relationships, and safeguard the company’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor PR campaigns in collaboration with an external agency.
• Produce and review UGC video content for YouTube, ensuring compliance with communication guidelines.
• Write press releases, articles, and SEO‑optimized content.
• Support Search Engine Reputation Management (SERM) and online reputation tracking.
• Brief and coordinate external vendors and contractors for PR and event needs.
• Assist with crisis communications and reputation‑sensitive messaging.
• Provide logistical support for events and related communications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in PR or corporate communications, preferably with agency exposure.
• Fluent in Russian and strong English writing skills.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
• Adaptable to shifting priorities and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders.
• Resilient and able to operate under close stakeholder involvement.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SEO.
