Field Enumerator for Mothers-to-Mothers Endline Evaluation

About the role

Last Mile Health is seeking motivated enumerators to support the Mothers‑to‑Mothers project endline evaluation in Rivercess County, Liberia. The role lasts 15 days and focuses on collecting qualitative stories of change using the Most Significant Change methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the orientation and training workshop to master MSC methodology and ethical interviewing procedures.
• Conduct qualitative interviews with project participants, facilitate storytelling, and record sessions using digital audio equipment.
• Review interview recordings daily for completeness, flag inconsistencies, and attend debrief meetings to identify emerging themes.
• Transcribe interviews, translate local language recordings into English, and organize all documentation for submission to the M&E specialist.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma or associate degree in public health, nursing, community health or a related field.
• Experience conducting qualitative interviews and supporting monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning activities.
• Previous work in rural or hard‑to‑reach communities, preferably with maternal and child health programs.
• Ability to work independently in remote settings and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Use of digital audio recorders for interview capture.
• Smartphone‑based data collection and documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word for transcription and report preparation.
