Forklift Operator

About the role

We are looking for a safety‑focused Forklift Operator to join our chemical packaging facility. You will be responsible for moving raw materials, finished products, and equipment while strictly following safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials and products within the factory.
• Follow all safety guidelines when handling hazardous chemicals and materials.
• Inspect forklifts before and after each shift to ensure proper condition.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and storage areas.
• Assist in inventory management by accurately recording material movements and storage locations.
• Follow specific instructions for handling and storing chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to ensure efficient material flow.
• Report safety issues, equipment malfunctions, or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification and prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Ability to work safely with hazardous materials and chemicals.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy materials.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
