Forklift Operator – Warehouse Material Handling

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, store, and track merchandise throughout the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, shelves, and production areas.
• Move products between storage locations, machines, and loading docks.
• Stack and arrange items according to company procedures.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Track inventory and complete required documentation.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues promptly.

Required profile

• Valid forklift certification or license.
• At least 1 year of forklift operating experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
• Basic math skills for inventory calculations.
• Ability to read location orders and shipping/receiving documents.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
