Freelance Copywriter – SEO Content for eCommerce & Lead Generation

About the role

CT Marketing Agency is looking for freelance copywriters to produce high‑quality, SEO‑driven content for eCommerce and lead‑generation websites across a variety of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Write clear, engaging, SEO‑friendly content such as category pages, product descriptions, blog posts, landing pages and website copy.
• Research client industries, products, services, audiences and competitors to inform content.
• Follow detailed client guidelines and adapt to different brand voices.
• Blend SEO best practices with conversion‑focused writing and meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Excellent English writing, grammar, editing and proofreading skills.
• 2‑4 years of professional, non‑academic writing experience (preferred).
• Strong understanding of SEO writing best practices.
• Ability to research unfamiliar industries and technical topics.
• Portfolio featuring published work.

What we offer

• Pay per word, starting up to $0.06 per word (≈ $30 per 500‑word page).
• Higher rates after 400 live pages ($0.064 per word) and after 800 live pages ($0.07 per word).
