Full‑Stack DEFI Smart Contract Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior Full‑Stack DEFI Smart Contract Engineer to design, develop, and optimise high‑throughput blockchain solutions on EVM and Solana ecosystems. You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver secure, performant DeFi protocols and DEX aggregators.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and audit smart contracts using Solidity, Anchor, and Rust for lending, liquidation, and oracle mechanisms.
• Prototype and optimise end‑to‑end DEX aggregator flows, focusing on liquidity sourcing and latency reduction.
• Integrate and maintain TypeScript libraries such as ethers.js, viem, and web3.js for DApp development.
• Lead scaling initiatives for high‑throughput systems, applying knowledge of parallelisation, protocols, and distributed databases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, providing technical guidance and executive‑level communication.

Required profile

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong research background in scaling, parallelisation, or distributed systems.
• Proven leadership in scaling high‑throughput blockchain or financial platforms.
• Deep understanding of EVM/Solana client internals (e.g., geth, reth) is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with database internals and high‑performance database architectures.
• Up‑to‑date with security, performance, and usability best practices in blockchain architecture.
