Lead QA Engineer (Mobile Automation)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead QA Engineer to own our mobile testing processes, mentor a growing QA team, and drive both end‑to‑end and performance automation initiatives. This role combines technical expertise with leadership to ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance and growth of QA team members.
• Organize and oversee end‑to‑end testing of mobile applications.
• Establish and enforce onboarding to release processes, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
• Drive workflow improvements across cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on QA and test automation experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Git, including CLI commands and complex workflows.
• Solid experience implementing a Local Testing Approach.
• Proficiency with Xcode and Android Studio for mobile development.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and experience with Appium for mobile E2E automation.
• Deep understanding of performance testing and ability to write scenario‑based tests using K6 or Artillery.io.
• Strong API testing knowledge using Postman.
• Experience with test‑management tools such as TestRail or Qase.
