Principal Medical Writing Product Lead

About the role

Faro Health is seeking a Principal Medical Writing Product Lead to shape an AI‑enabled authoring platform that transforms clinical trial protocol creation. This senior, remote position blends deep medical writing expertise with product development, helping to define how structured study data and AI can generate high‑quality regulatory documents.

Key responsibilities

• Define the vision and workflow for an AI‑driven medical writing product, translating user needs into product specifications.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Strategy, and Clinical experts to design, test, and iterate authoring workflows.
• Establish quality criteria for AI‑generated content, covering scientific accuracy, internal consistency, traceability, and narrative quality.
• Serve as the medical‑writing voice in product development, ensuring regulatory expectations and writer pain points are addressed.
• Lead pilot implementations with strategic customers and turn feedback into scalable product improvements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in medical writing for clinical trial documents (protocols, CSR, etc.).
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and clinical development processes.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and clinical teams.
• Passion for leveraging AI and structured data to improve efficiency.
