Production Manager – Acatari (Mureș County)

About the role

We are seeking a Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations at our Acatari facility in Mureș County. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality, safety and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, organize and supervise all production activities in the factory.
• Ensure the production plan is achieved according to quality standards, delivery times and cost efficiency.
• Manage and supervise strategic development projects of the department.
• Monitor and continuously improve technological flows and work processes.
• Implement and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies.
• Lead work teams (shift managers, technicians, operators), overseeing training, motivation and performance evaluation.
• Establish, track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
• Collaborate with maintenance, supply, logistics and quality departments for smooth operations.
• Participate in production line modernization and digitalization initiatives.
• Efficiently manage material and energy resources.

Required profile

• Higher education in a technical field such as electrical, industrial, mechanical or automation engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in production, preferably in cable, electrical or automotive sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge of industrial processes, machinery and manufacturing technologies.
• Proven ability to coordinate, plan and make decisions in multidisciplinary environments.
• Strategic thinking, performance orientation and adaptability to dynamic conditions.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced use of MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and 5S methodologies.
• Ability to analyze and report KPIs.
