Production Technician

About the role

Overwatch Imaging is seeking a Production Technician to join its manufacturing team. You will work hands‑on assembling optical and electronic components for advanced sensor systems, ensuring each product meets strict quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble optical and electronic parts using hand and power tools, including cable harnesses.
• Follow technical drawings, work instructions, and blueprints to build components accurately.
• Conduct in‑process and final quality inspections, record data, and report deviations.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace in line with 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
• Complete production logs, batch records, and digital tracking entries.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and quality teams to support smooth workflow and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with IPC standards and ISO/lean manufacturing practices.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, venture‑backed startup environment.
