Prop AMM Senior Smart Contract Engineer (Base Chain)

About the role

We are building a next‑generation Proprietary AMM (Prop AMM) protocol on the Base chain. As a Senior Smart Contract Engineer you will lead the design and implementation of the core on‑chain components that deliver low‑slippage, high‑throughput market‑making liquidity.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop the core Prop AMM protocol on Base (EVM), including pricing curves, market‑making logic, and vault liquidity management.
• Integrate high‑frequency oracles such as Chainlink to enable real‑time price updates and on‑chain parameter adjustments.
• Optimize transaction execution priority, implement anti‑MEV and toxic‑flow protection strategies to maintain tight spreads.
• Collaborate with frontend and aggregator teams to ensure seamless routing and high‑throughput transaction handling.
• Perform security audits, gas‑usage optimization, stress testing, and continuous iteration of protocol mechanisms.
• Research Solana Prop AMM best practices and adapt them to the Base ecosystem.

Required profile

• Strong Solidity development experience with proficiency in Foundry or Hardhat.
• Deep understanding of EVM internals, storage layout, gas optimization, and proxy patterns.
• Extensive knowledge of AMM designs (Uniswap V2/V3, concentrated liquidity) and experience with Prop AMM or order‑book systems.
• Familiarity with oracle integration, MEV protection, flash‑loan attack defenses, and overall DeFi security.
• Passion for DeFi trends and ability to read technical papers and open‑source code in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cryptography, or related field and at least 3 years of blockchain development experience.
