About the role

The Social Media Associate will create and optimise content across multiple platforms, ensuring it aligns with client standards and current digital trends. This role supports the marketing team by managing campaigns, promotions and daily content approval.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality content that meets client guidelines.
• Develop and implement Social Media Optimisation (SMO) strategies.
• Monitor social media trends and best practices to keep campaigns fresh.
• Research emerging platforms and adapt processes to meet client needs.
• Review and approve daily content before publishing.
• Plan, execute and manage monthly promotional activities.

• Strong organisational and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Team‑oriented mindset with confidence to lead when required.
• Quick learner of new hardware and software tools.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of major social platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Flickr.
• Experience with social media optimisation (SMO) techniques.
• Background in public relations, marketing sales or community management.
