Business Analyst – Remote

About the role

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is seeking a remote Business Analyst to join its global product team. You will work closely with the Product Manager and development squads to turn business ideas into clear, actionable requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Manager to shape and refine product concepts.
• Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications.
• Create high‑quality documentation, including functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Prepare and facilitate pre‑grooming and grooming sessions with the development team.
• Ensure shared understanding of requirements across product, design, and engineering.
• Support the development process by clarifying requirements and resolving questions.
• Monitor feature implementation to verify alignment with initial requirements and business goals.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with the ability to ask the right questions and facilitate stakeholder discussions.
• Proven experience documenting requirements in a clear, structured format.
• Analytical mindset capable of identifying dependencies, inconsistencies, and risks.
• Problem‑solving ability with well‑reasoned recommendations.
• Experience working in Agile environments (backlog refinement, sprint planning, etc.).
• Comfortable working remotely within a distributed team.
• Understanding of product thinking and a user‑centric approach.
