About the role

Our client is seeking a Chief Engineer to join a general cargo vessel operating under the Portuguese flag. The position is full‑time and expected to start on 15 June 2026.

Key responsibilities

Lead and manage the engineering department aboard the vessel.

Required profile

Valid STCW documents.
Valid medical certificate.
Good English (Marlins test is an advantage).
Previous experience in a similar rank on a general cargo vessel.
Holder of a Schengen visa.

Required skills

What we offer

Salary: 9,500 USD per month.
Contract duration: 4 months ± 1 month.
