About the role
Our client is seeking a Chief Engineer to join a general cargo vessel operating under the Portuguese flag. The position is full‑time and expected to start on 15 June 2026.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the engineering department aboard the vessel.
Required profile
- Valid STCW documents.
- Valid medical certificate.
- Good English (Marlins test is an advantage).
- Previous experience in a similar rank on a general cargo vessel.
- Holder of a Schengen visa.

What we offer
- Salary: 9,500 USD per month.
- Contract duration: 4 months ± 1 month.
