Cybersecurity Specialist – Liberia

About the role

GIS/Transport Limited is looking for a senior Cybersecurity Specialist to support a World Bank‑funded ICT project in Liberia. The role involves safeguarding project infrastructure and data against evolving cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity risk assessments and vulnerability assessments.
• Perform penetration testing and implement secure coding practices.
• Harden infrastructure, manage information‑security controls, and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in information security, including work on government or donor‑funded ICT projects.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH or ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer.
