Fashion Design Instructor

About the role

BlueCrest University College is seeking a full‑time Fashion Design Instructor to join its faculty in Monrovia. You will lead lectures, demonstrations, and studio sessions that blend creativity with industry‑ready technical skills.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures, demonstrations, and hands‑on studio classes in fashion design, pattern making, and garment construction.
• Prepare lesson plans, develop course materials, and create assessment tools.
• Guide student projects, supervise practical sessions, and provide constructive feedback on assignments and portfolios.
• Participate in curriculum review and collaborate with colleagues to align teaching methods with current industry standards.
• Support student exhibitions, fashion shows, and departmental meetings.
• Mentor students, maintain an organized classroom environment, and contribute to academic quality initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in teaching and training fashion design subjects.
• Background in curriculum development and instructional design.
• Academic qualification in Fashion Design or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications are a plus.
• Professional experience in the fashion industry with a strong portfolio.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and mentoring abilities.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with fashion trends and pedagogical best practices.
