Java Specialist – Multiple Roles (GIS, Portal, Server, Client)

About the role

Bull is seeking experienced Java specialists for several positions, including GIS development (preferably with LuciadMap), portal development, server‑side Java, and client‑side Java. You will join a multicultural team that designs, builds, tests, and maintains complex software solutions for a range of business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, test, tune, and maintain Java‑based applications.
• Implement code, write unit and integration tests, and contribute to test‑automation efforts.
• Produce clear technical documentation for developed components.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a complex, multicultural environment.

Required profile

• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Academic background with solid technical foundation.
• Minimum 5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in the specific domain of the applied role (GIS, portal, server‑side, or client‑side).
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multinational setting.
