Procurement Officer

About the role

FHI 360 is looking for a Procurement Officer to support the EpiC MNCH Liberia project. The role is based in Monrovia and will ensure procurement activities comply with U.S. Department of State rules and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Request quotations/proposals (RFQs/RFPs), organize bid evaluations and conduct cost/price analyses.
• Prepare and submit complete procurement packages for timely review and approval.
• Manage sourcing of commercial goods and services and maintain supplier performance records.
• Provide purchase information to the Inventory Committee and keep procurement trackers up‑to‑date.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and electronic files in line with established protocols.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of procurement or logistics experience, preferably in donor‑funded development projects.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail and ability to work independently under time constraints.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse national and cultural backgrounds.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with cloud‑based collaboration platforms such as SharePoint.
