Senior Health Informatics Officer

About the role

FHI 360 is seeking a Senior Health Informatics Officer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of health information systems for Maternal, Neonatal, and Child Health (MNCH) and HIV programs in Liberia. Reporting to the Senior Technical Advisor for Strategic Information, the incumbent will provide technical leadership across four high‑burden counties.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation, maintenance, and scale‑up of electronic health information systems supporting HIV and MNCH programs.
• Design and strengthen integrated digital health architectures aligned with national HIS and interoperability frameworks.
• Configure systems, manage user access, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
• Coordinate integration between DHIS2, EMRs, Open mSupply, LMIS, laboratory and community systems.
• Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health reporting requirements, donor indicators, and data governance standards.
• Oversee Open mSupply rollout, optimization, and reporting to improve commodity visibility and stock management.
• Collaborate with MOH, NACP, County Health Teams, partners, and facility staff to promote data quality and evidence‑based decision‑making.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in health information systems within low‑resource settings.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑stakeholder projects and manage complex technical environments.
• Strong understanding of national health information standards and interoperability.
