Senior .Net Developer (AI Product)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior .Net Developer to join our AI product team at Social Discovery Group. You will work remotely on high‑load services that power social discovery platforms used by millions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the architecture of high‑load services and expand the existing C#/.NET Core codebase.
• Build new product features and AI integrations, including voice, real‑time processing and future video/emotion recognition.
• Design and operate asynchronous pipelines on RabbitMQ, ensuring delivery guarantees, idempotency, error handling and back‑pressure.
• Optimize MS SQL Server schemas and queries under load, focusing on indexes, execution plans and hot‑path performance.
• Maintain high code quality through code reviews, testing, observability and engineering standards, influencing technical decisions beyond your immediate area.

Required profile

• 5+ years of commercial C#/.NET development, with at least 2 years on .NET Core in production.
• Proven experience with distributed, high‑load systems, able to reason about throughput, latency and fault tolerance.
• Hands‑on experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ preferred; Kafka, Azure Service Bus or NATS acceptable) and MS SQL Server under load.
• Fluent Russian and availability to work CET (±2) hours.
