Senior .Net Developer – Remote

About the role

Social Discovery Group is seeking a Senior .Net Developer to strengthen its high‑load services platform. You will work remotely with a globally distributed team, building new product features, AI integrations, and ensuring robust performance at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the architecture of high‑load services and expand the existing C#/.NET Core codebase.
• Develop new product features and integrations, including AI layers such as voice and real‑time processing.
• Design and operate asynchronous pipelines on RabbitMQ, handling delivery guarantees, idempotency, error handling and back‑pressure.
• Optimize MS SQL Server schemas and queries under heavy load, focusing on indexes, execution plans and hot‑path performance.
• Maintain high code quality through reviews, testing, observability and engineering standards, influencing decisions beyond your immediate area.

Required profile

• 5+ years of commercial C#/.NET development, with at least 2 years on .NET Core in production.
• Hands‑on experience with distributed, high‑load systems and a solid understanding of throughput, latency and fault tolerance.
• Proven work with message brokers (RabbitMQ preferred; Kafka, Azure Service Bus or NATS acceptable) in high‑load environments.
• Strong experience with MS SQL Server under load.
• Fluent Russian and ability to work in CET (±2) time zones.
