About the role
The Technical Manager will shape and execute the company’s IT strategy, ensuring that technology supports business objectives and drives operational efficiency. This senior position oversees all aspects of IT infrastructure, security, and enterprise applications while leading a high‑performing technical team.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT strategy, policies, and procedures aligned with business goals.
- Oversee daily IT operations, including network infrastructure, servers, databases, cloud services, and end‑user support.
- Manage installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of hardware, software, and communication systems.
- Ensure data security, integrity, and availability through robust cybersecurity measures.
- Lead IT infrastructure projects, system implementations, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Administer enterprise systems such as HRIS, ERP, payroll, WMS, TMS, and other business applications.
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Manage IT vendors, service contracts, software licenses, and technology agreements.
- Prepare and control the annual IT budget, ensuring cost‑effective use of resources.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, cybersecurity standards, licensing requirements, and data‑privacy regulations.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and performance management for the IT team.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify technology needs and recommend solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovations to improve performance and customer service.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive IT experience with managerial responsibility.
- Experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network administration, servers, virtualization, cloud computing, cybersecurity, database management, and system integration.
- Excellent leadership, project‑management, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
