Engine Cadet – Vehicle Carrier (6‑month contract)

About the role

Join a vehicle carrier vessel as an Engine (Electrical) Cadet for a short‑term assignment. You will work onboard a Bahamas‑flagged ship, gaining hands‑on experience in marine electrical systems while supporting the engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
• Participate in safety drills and ensure compliance with maritime regulations.
• Support daily monitoring of power generation and distribution systems.
• Help prepare technical documentation and reports as required.

Required profile

• Valid STCW certification.
• Current medical certificate.
• Proficiency in English.
• Willingness to work at sea for a 6‑month period.
