Head of SEO

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of SEO to lead our iGaming SEO team. You will own the full SEO lifecycle, from technical foundations to content strategy and link building, driving organic growth in highly competitive gambling markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute full‑cycle SEO strategies (Tier‑1/2/3) for brand, cross‑brand and non‑brand queries.
• Build, mentor and manage a high‑performing SEO team of 10‑30 specialists, setting KPIs/OKRs and autonomous processes.
• Oversee technical SEO, site architecture, localization, content indexing, internal linking and schema markup.
• Design and run white‑hat link‑building campaigns, including outreach, PBN and custom methods.
• Recover sites from Google penalties and ensure resilience to algorithm updates.
• Manage SEO budgets, analyze traffic, rankings, conversions, retention and ROI.
• Integrate AI tools into SEO, content creation and analytics workflows.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with development, product, design, marketing and analytics teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of SEO experience with at least 2 years in a Head/Lead role within iGaming or gambling.
• Proven track record of building SEO departments from scratch and leading teams of 10+ specialists.
• Strong analytical, strategic and critical thinking skills with a focus on ROI.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Netpeak Spider.
• Experience using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console (GSC) and Looker Studio.
• Hands‑on knowledge of technical SEO, link‑building, affiliate, review and parasite SEO techniques.
