Lead QA Engineer (AI native)

About the role

We are looking for a Lead QA Engineer (AI native) to own the reliability of a new AI‑first product that handles real‑money financial flows. You will work in a small senior remote team where almost all code is generated by AI agents and quality is ensured through automated testing and AI‑driven processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement an end‑to‑end testing pipeline, including pre‑merge checks, nightly runs and production gates.
• Define a quality strategy for AI‑generated code, identifying high‑risk areas and required coverage.
• Set up continuous automated UI testing across browsers and mobile devices, leveraging AI agents.
• Evaluate, select and integrate external testing tools and services.
• Own product reliability for critical financial flows and collaborate with engineers and DevOps to balance speed and safety.
• Use AI coding agents daily to create, maintain and evolve tests and testing tooling.

Required profile

• Proven experience building testing processes for large, complex, high‑reliability products (QA Architect, senior QA/SDET or similar).
• Strong engineering background with understanding of system architecture, backend services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with test automation and integrating tests into CI/CD.
• Daily use of AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar) and genuine interest in AI‑first development.
• High autonomy, ability to define solutions for loosely defined problems.
• Fluent Russian.
