Operations Assistant – G-5 (Full-time)

About the role
The Operations Assistant is based in the UNICEF Country Office in Monrovia and reports to the Deputy Representative/Operations. The role provides administrative support across Finance, HR, Admin, ICT and manages the Deputy Representative’s office, ensuring smooth operational delivery in line with UNICEF policies.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and analyse operational data to support decision‑making and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate appointments, high‑level meetings and maintain the supervisor’s calendar.
- Arrange travel logistics for the Deputy Representative as needed.
- Monitor segregation of duty violations and implement mitigation measures.
- Track operational dashboards and key performance indicators.
- Maintain filing, reference systems and keep intranet sites up to date.
- Review incoming and outgoing correspondence before supervisor approval.
- Organise internal operational management meetings, take minutes and distribute them.
Required profile
- Ability to work under close supervision and guidance.
- Strong organisational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Effective communication with high‑ranking officials and internal stakeholders.
- Attention to detail in handling documentation and data.
