Project Manager – Development Projects

About the role

The European Institute for Cooperation and Development (IECD) is seeking a Project Manager to lead the feasibility, proposal drafting, and implementation of new education and reintegration projects for vulnerable youth in Liberia. The role will also support administrative management of the ongoing STRIVE TVET project, ensuring smooth transition and capacity building for the local team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead strategy for new projects, aligning with partners such as AFD, ministries, and local NGOs.
• Draft project proposals, negotiate terms, and secure approvals.
• Oversee operational implementation, monitoring, and reporting for the STRIVE project.
• Develop administrative skills of the local team and drive continuous impact improvement.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand project scope and funding.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing development or education projects in low‑resource settings.
• Strong ability to work with government ministries, donors, and local partners.
• Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.
