About the role

We are seeking a skilled Proposal Writer to develop compelling funding proposals, concept notes, and donor submissions that support our fundraising and program development efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Research donor priorities, funding opportunities, and grant requirements.
• Write and edit grant proposals, concept notes, and funding applications.
• Collaborate with program, finance, and technical teams to gather proposal content.
• Develop project narratives, logical frameworks, and implementation plans.
• Ensure proposals comply with donor guidelines and submission requirements.
• Maintain a calendar of funding opportunities and proposal deadlines.
• Support donor reporting and proposal follow‑up activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Development Studies, International Relations, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in proposal writing or grant development.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong research and analytical capabilities.
• Experience working with donor‑funded projects.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
