Senior Marketing Analyst

About the role

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is seeking a Senior Marketing Analyst to shape budget allocation, develop early‑life‑time‑value models, and support performance‑marketing decisions across its global social‑discovery products. You will work remotely with an international team of digital nomads.

Key responsibilities

• Design upper‑level logic for marketing budget management, including rules and models for allocating spend across products and traffic sources.
• Develop and validate early LTV metrics and models to guide intra‑week performance marketing and budget decisions.
• Build analytical frameworks and tools for performance diagnostics, identifying drivers, growth opportunities, and anomalies across campaigns.
• Participate in the creation of an internal AI‑based analytics tool for root‑cause detection and opportunity discovery.
• Provide analytical support for the unified BI layer, including metric definitions, data validation, and use‑case development.

Required profile

• Experience with A/B testing and experimental design.
• Strong SQL skills for large‑dataset querying and data‑quality validation.
• Solid knowledge of mathematical statistics and ability to design back‑testing methodologies.
• Deep understanding of performance‑marketing economics (LTV, CAC/CPA, ROI/ROAS, funnels, cohorts, attribution).
• Ability to translate analytical findings into clear business rules and recommendations.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet tools (Google Sheets, Excel) and BI platforms (Superset, Tableau, Power BI).
• English proficiency at B2+ level.
