About the role
Our client seeks an experienced Chief Engineer to join the crew of an oil/chemical tanker for a short‑term assignment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the engine department on board the vessel.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of the MAN‑B&W 6S50ME‑C9.5 main engine.
Required profile
- At least two previous contracts on similar oil or chemical tankers with mixed crew.
- Valid STCW documents and a current medical certificate.
- Proficient English communication skills.
- Candidate must be based in the EU.
Required skills
- Experience with MAN‑B&W 6S50ME‑C9.5 engine systems.
- STCW certification.
- Medical certificate.
What we offer
- Salary of €11,600 (negotiable).
- Fixed‑term contract lasting 2‑3 months.
- Immediate start date.
