About the role

Wesmark Family Dentistry is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to support our dentists in delivering top‑quality patient care. The ideal candidate is empathetic, patient, quick‑thinking, and eager to help others.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and set up equipment for procedures.
• Assist dentists by handing instruments, anticipating needs, and managing workflow during treatments.
• Take and process dental X‑rays.
• Perform lab tasks as instructed and maintain accurate patient records.
• Greet patients, schedule appointments, and provide oral hygiene guidance.
• Handle payment procedures and general administrative duties.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of dental assisting experience preferred.
• Professionalism, high moral standards, and self‑motivated work ethic.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Drive to provide the best care for patients.

Required skills

• Dental radiography (X‑ray imaging).
• Instrument sterilization and infection control.
• Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and common procedures such as crowns, fillings, extractions, root canals, and implants.
