Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) for AHTS Vessel

About the role

We are seeking an Electro‑Technical Officer (ETO) to join the crew of an Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel operating under the Bahamas flag. The role involves maintaining and operating the vessel’s electrical and propulsion systems during a fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot diesel‑electric propulsion systems.
• Operate and maintain Kongsberg dynamic positioning (DP) equipment on DP2 vessels.
• Perform high‑voltage system inspections and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, medical and certification requirements while onboard.

Required profile

• Valid STCW certificates and a current medical certificate.
• Previous experience on DP2 vessels, preferably on AHTS or similar ships.
• Electro‑Technical Officer Certificate of Competency (ETO COC).
• Up‑to‑date Covid‑19 and Yellow Fever vaccinations.
• Proficient English communication skills.

What we offer

• USD 313 per day (net) plus leave pay.
• Fixed‑term contract of approximately 8 weeks (±4 weeks).
