Facility Manager

About the role

APM Terminals Liberia is seeking a Facility Manager to ensure safe, efficient execution of repairs, maintenance and projects across the terminal. You will be responsible for the reliability and performance of all facility assets while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all facility repairs, planned maintenance and project execution, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Manage electricity, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, masonry, painting and related services.
• Lead subcontractors, review designs and specifications, and monitor performance against quality, cost and schedule.
• Develop and maintain maintenance strategies, preventive and predictive programs, and track KPI reporting.
• Control facility budgets, monitor costs, manage spare‑parts inventory and optimise resource utilisation.
• Lead, coach and develop the facility team, fostering collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management or a similar operational environment.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, service‑oriented setting.

Required skills

• Knowledge of facility maintenance strategies, planning processes and performance metrics.
• Understanding of maintenance management systems and related technologies.
