Gas Tanker Deck Officer – 9‑Week Rotation

About the role

Join a reputable LNG floating platform project as a deck officer on a gas tanker operating out of Europe. The position offers a 9‑week on/off rotation and provides the chance to work on a modern vessel within a respected company.

Key responsibilities

• Navigate and operate the gas tanker safely in compliance with international regulations.
• Supervise cargo handling, loading and unloading of LNG on the floating platform.
• Maintain watchkeeping duties and ensure the safety of crew and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections, drills and emergency response procedures.
• Coordinate with shore‑based teams and ensure proper documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience on tankers.
• Valid STCW certificates and a current medical certificate.
• Certificate of Gas Tanker Familiarisation.
• Fluent English.
• EU nationality (EU candidates only).
