Junior QHSE Coordinator

About the role

The Junior QHSE Coordinator supports the implementation and monitoring of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment initiatives within the organization. This position ensures compliance with internal procedures and relevant regulations while promoting a culture of risk prevention and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor actions related to QHSE in the assigned scope.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements and ISO standards.
• Lead risk prevention activities, raise awareness among employees and report accidents and near‑misses.
• Participate in internal and external audits, manage documentation and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain and update QHSE registers, performance indicators and the annual QHSE activity schedule.
• Act as the focal point for Health, Safety and Environment, facilitating worker consultation and participation.
• Support managers in investigating occupational accidents, near‑misses and hazardous situations.
• Conduct QHSE inspections, site visits, toolbox talks and awareness sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in QHSE, HSE or a related field (minimum 3 years of higher education).
• At least three years of professional experience in QHSE or a similar role.
• Proactive attitude, compliance with company ethics and internal regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with line and functional managers.
• Willingness to work closely with process owners to support continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Knowledge of QHSE standards and Quality Management Systems.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong internal and external communication skills.
