Merchant Success Manager

About the role

FUEGO is looking for a Merchant Success Manager to own the post‑launch relationship with its mobile commerce customers. You will be the go‑to person for questions, feature requests, and strategic guidance, leveraging deep Shopify expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end customer relationships, including onboarding, early‑life success, and ongoing strategic guidance.
• Handle request triage, scope and route requests, and manage delivery conversations with the engineering team.
• Drive retention and expansion through renewals, upsells, and quarterly business reviews.
• Act as the voice of the customer, surfacing insights to product and leadership teams.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or a senior client‑facing role within the Shopify ecosystem.
• Strong commercial mindset with a focus on retention, expansion, and revenue growth.
• Excellent written communication, organization, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Required skills

• Fluent navigation of Shopify Plus admin, including products, collections, orders, discounts, themes, and apps.
• Deep understanding of metafields, metaobjects, and theme architecture (Online Store 2.0, sections, blocks).
• Knowledge of Shopify Functions, Checkout Extensibility, Flow, B2B, Markets, and headless implementations (Hydrogen, Oxygen, Next.js).
• Familiarity with major Shopify ecosystem apps such as Klaviyo, Attentive, Postscript, Recharge, Yotpo, Okendo, LoyaltyLion, Gorgias, and others.
