Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer

About the role

FHI 360 is looking for a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Officer to support the Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health (MNCH) components of the EpiC project in Liberia. Working under the Technical Advisor for Strategic Information, the officer will strengthen MEL systems across four counties, ensuring high‑quality data informs program decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support routine collection, validation, analysis and reporting of HIV (PMTCT) and RMNCH data.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports for donors and national stakeholders.
• Maintain and update indicator trackers, reporting tools and databases.
• Conduct data quality assessments, verification, triangulation and supportive supervision.
• Identify and correct reporting discrepancies and data gaps.
• Generate dashboards, scorecards and presentations to promote data‑driven decision‑making.
• Collaborate with pharmacy, clinical and M&E teams to improve commodity reporting and accountability.
• Develop and update electronic data collection tools and templates.

Required profile

• Experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning for health programs, preferably in MNCH or HIV.
• Familiarity with health information systems and digital reporting platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to data quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively with government, partners and field teams.
