Process Engineer – Plastics Processing & Machinery

About the role

We are seeking a Process Engineer specialized in plastics processing and machinery to lead the development, set‑up, and optimisation of injection molding operations. The role involves overseeing the full production cycle from prototype to full‑scale manufacturing while ensuring high quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage plastic mold design, release, trials, and performance monitoring.
• Repair minor mold defects and maintain 2K/3K color molds.
• Operate and optimise injection machines ranging from single‑color to four‑color units with turntables.
• Lead technical staff, set‑up teams, and production operators.
• Produce and analyse production reports using PDCA, QRAP, and QCDM methodologies.
• Handle processed materials such as ABS, PMMA, polycarbonate, polypropylene, polystyrene, and polyethylene.
• Travel as required to support multiple sites and ensure compliance with passport/visa regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑process plastic molding, from prototype to series production.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results quickly.
• Minimum 60% proficiency in English.
• Valid passport and up‑to‑date visa.

Required skills

• Knowledge of plastic molds and minor mold repair.
• Expertise in mold release, trial runs, and performance evaluation.
• Experience with 2K/3K color molds.
• Operation of injection machines (1‑4 color units with turntable).
• Technical staff and production operator management.
• Scientific molding management.
• Production reporting using PDCA, QRAP, QCDM.
• Handling of ABS, PMMA, polycarbonate, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyethylene.
