Procurement Agent Manager

About the role

The Procurement Agent Manager will lead the PA team, oversee all procurement activities, and serve as the primary liaison with the client. This position ensures compliance with MCC and local procurement frameworks while managing high‑value contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the procurement team, providing guidance and performance management.
• Develop, review, and approve procurement documents for goods, works, and services, including bidding documents, evaluation reports, and contracts.
• Manage large, complex procurements up to approximately US$5 million and ensure adherence to donor‑funded regulatory frameworks such as MCC, World Bank, and ADB.
• Maintain relationships with senior government officials and private‑sector partners, acting as the main point of contact for the client.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an internationally recognized procurement certification (e.g., NIGP‑CPP, MCIPS, CPSM).
• Minimum 10 years of public procurement experience across at least two countries, with experience in donor‑funded projects.
• Proven experience leading a team of procurement professionals.
• Fluent written and spoken English and demonstrated ability to interact with senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of public procurement regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
