Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead and supervise the PA team, manage all procurement activities, ensure compliance with MCC and local frameworks, and serve as the main point of contact with the client.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the entire procurement assistance (PA) team.
• Manage all procurement activities and ensure adherence to MCC and local regulations.
• Develop, review, and oversee procurement documents for goods, works, and services.
• Act as the primary liaison with the client and senior government or private sector stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Law, Procurement, Engineering, Business, Finance, Public Administration or a recognized procurement certification (e.g., NIGP‑CPP, CPPO, MCIPS, CPSM).
• Minimum 10 years of public procurement experience across at least two countries.
• Experience in at least two projects developing or reviewing bidding documents, evaluation reports, and contracts.
• Proven experience managing procurements under donor‑funded frameworks such as World Bank, ADB, or MCC.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a team of procurement professionals.
• Experience handling large, complex procurements of approximately US$5 million.
• Fluent written and spoken English and proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Track record of interacting with senior government officials and private sector entities.
