About the role
FHI 360 is seeking a Program Officer I to support the USG‑funded Global Health Security project in Liberia. The role focuses on the laboratory and diagnostic components of the STRIDES activity, ensuring project tasks stay on schedule and within budget.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the project management team with administrative tasks, meeting coordination, travel requests, and sub‑task assignments.
- Track, organize, and maintain project documentation such as purchase requests and statements of work.
- Collect and compile metrics, data, and external information from sub‑contractors and partners for reporting.
- Maintain project calendars, distribution lists, and both electronic and physical file systems.
- Send reminders to keep the team on track with reporting deadlines and technical deliverables.
- Support finance functions by gathering cost information, coordinating budgets, and liaising with internal finance and contracts units.
Required profile
- Basic knowledge of project design concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
