Reliability Specialist (RCM)

About the role

The Reliability Specialist will develop and implement strategies to improve the reliability and performance of Concentrator equipment at ArcelorMittal Liberia. Working closely with maintenance teams, the specialist will analyze equipment data, identify reliability issues, and drive predictive and preventive maintenance solutions to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse equipment performance and reliability data to identify trends and potential failures.
• Develop and implement predictive and preventive maintenance programmes, including RCM principles.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to resolve recurring issues.
• Implement condition monitoring programmes such as vibration analysis, thermal imaging, oil analysis and ultrasonic testing.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel on reliability practices.
• Maintain and analyse reliability data, prepare reports and track KPIs related to equipment health.

Required profile

• Proven experience in reliability analysis, RCA and FMEA within an industrial or mining environment.
• Strong background in condition monitoring and maintenance strategy development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with maintenance teams and communicate technical findings.
